Please join the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable on Tuesday, March 13 at 3 p.m. for another program in a series on ?Healthy Teen Relationships.?
The Roundtable will screen a DVD titled ?Dating Matters: Understanding Teen Dating Violence Prevention? as an example of a curriculum, complete with instructor?s notes, available to teachers and others who work with teens and who would like to provide education about healthy teen relationships.
The DVD was co-produced by Liz Claiborne Inc. and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The meeting will be held in the Community Meeting Room at the Public Safety Building located at the intersection of routes 20 and 27 in Wayland Center. The program is free and open to the public.
The Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable focuses on community education; providing assistance to agencies, health professionals, educators, the clergy, and others engaged in efforts to reduce domestic violence in our communities; and on facilitating exchanges of information about effective strategies for combating all forms of abusive behavior.
The Roundtable meets on the second Tuesday of each month from September to June at the Public Safety Building in Wayland.
