After launching Frieze New York in May and then Frieze Projects East?its first public art event?as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad, Frieze?s tenth annual contemporary art fair is happening, once again, in Regent?s Park this October 11 through 14.
One major highlight: the inaugural Frieze Masters, a sort of fair-within-a-fair exhibiting ancient/historical works?an unprecedented move for Frieze, one of the few international fairs that has to date focused solely on contemporary, living artists. Masters is set within in a modern, temporary structure designed by New York?based architect Annabelle Selldorf with transparant walls and silver birch trees on Gloucester Green.?
